Strong Women/Strong Mothers

I am sharing this because that modified version of the blanket’s sentiment is what I believe is the core of my mission: that motherhood is a vocation that must be celebrated to survive and thrive.
I think about those young women yet to be mothers, women who are spiritual mothers, weary young moms, Empty-nester moms all who are working to create strong families/communities and how they sometimes feel like a tiny boat in on a huge sea. There is a line in the sentiment that says: “straighten your crown.”
Yes! The longer I live expressing my belief that God has given us power through our Baptismal role of Priest/Prophet/Queen the more I know it is true. God has created women with great power!
So straighten your crown because you have this!
Live like the Priest/Prophet/Queen you are!
