Ora et labora (“pray and work”).
Those who choose to follow Saint Benedict are committed to honoring and glorifying God through the harmonious balance of prayer, study, work and hospitality. If we grew up in Catholic homes we might remember our mothers telling us to offer up our work to God. It seems to me that Saint Benedict is a perfect fit for moms who wish to add a little spirituality to their mothering.
I “borrowed” this chart from: Organize For Free . The moment I saw it I thought of Saint Benedict, the only thing it needs to make it complete is to add daily morning Mass!
