Who Do You Say That I Am

Sunday: Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?” Luke 9:18

I have a friend who would routinely ask her kids how they thought of her as a mom…..she said it gave her a real perspective on her parenting. Hmmmmm, not so sure about that; Jesus is doing something similar here; just he has an idea of how he is and who he is.

Unlike Jesus, we do not have a Divine idea of who we are and what we are doing as Mom; it can be quite daunting at times and seem overwhelming, we have to grow in this ministry: just as Jesus did. Asking that Question: Who do the crowds say I am, is basic when are beginning to understand who we are, the confidence is beginning.

It is a wonderful question to ask yourself: Who do I say that I am.
