Communion Wafers

What Have I Been Blessed With

1. What are you most grateful for?  That I am married to the man I am married to!  This isn’t some flip thing, he truly is someone I thank God for.  Without my husband I don’t think I could have become the woman/mom I am.  While it has been very difficult for me to let go enough to truly become one flesh with my husband I am more than aware that without him I would be lost.   He is a very supportive person who saw potential in me when I wasn’t able to see it in myself.
2. What has God done for you today?  Now there is a rub.  I haven’t been very good friends with God lately, the past ten years or so, I try but it is hard.  Now thinking about this I can see where God was in many of the situations we as a family were facing.  With all that was going on we did still keep the lines of communication open, set boundaries and limits to keep everyone safe, we worked hard to create the life we were called to have, even during those difficult times.  Darn I hate it went my SD is right!  I say that with tongue in cheek.
3. Through what grace has your life been fulfilled? Eucharist, yes definitely the Eucharist.  I am so proud to be an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist.   I love sharing the Precious Body/Blood with my fellow Catholics. OMG-as they say, again an opportunity for me to be open and giving to someone, another opportunity for connection.
