Experiencing God: Infant

Can you say that an infant, a new born, can have an experience of God?  If we accept that God creates all souls than it is easy to accept that their experience of God is perhaps the most pure/perfect.  They have of course been only recently with God.   In Scripture  Jeremiah 1:5 says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

An infant is pure love, acceptance and trust.  An example of what we hope to return to as we journey to understand how God has called us and stands with us as we work to become all we are to be.
