Mother’s Life Well Spent

English: Portrait of artist's wife and mother-...

While I was with them, I kept those you had given me true to your name. I have watched over them and not one  is lost…..John 17: 12

My jaw dropped this morning when I heard this Gospel.  I thought of my mother and mother-in-law, both very faith-filled women, women who prayed for their children, prayed about their children, prayed because of their children.

Everything these mothers did was so their children would grow up to be good people, faith filled and spiritual. They hoped that their lives were spent well as mothers.
