Challenge, Will You Take It

ImageI believe with all my heart that we as moms/women are called to be Priest, Prophet and Queen. We are strong. We are capable. Remember it was the women who were brave enough to go to the tomb! When they returned to tell the disciples what they saw the men did not believe them!

Moms/Women when will we stand up and say I have been given a calling by God to be the best I can be, raise wonderful children who see themselves as gifts with a bright future and wonderful talent. When we will stop hurting ourselves by telling ourselves the lies that only the “famous” are beautiful. We are famous! We are beautiful in ways that are more profound than just our skin!

When we will demand that our children need support, encouragement and to be empowered so they can make decisions that move their lives forward, not complicate them.  When will we demand that we be given encouragement, support and accept the power God has already given us.

It is my hope that your marriages are ones of love and not connivance. It is my hope that you can find God in even the deepest of despair. It is my hope that from yesterday you learned how to create a better life, that today you are taking those lessons to heart and are building your best day, and that tomorrow you will reap the riches of a life well lived.

Reply by comment that you will be making a pledge to yourself, to your daughters, to God that you will live a life of nurturing powerful purpose.  If you find this post compelling forward it to mothers who would be interested in it.  It is time to become whom God wants us to be: Priest, Prophet and Queen
