My hubby and I were at a restaurant enjoying an unexpected romantic midweek dinner. We were sitting enjoying our company when my hubby stopped talking and stared beyond me. Because my back was to the TV that was playing in the corner of the room I could not see what he was staring at. I asked him what he was looking at, and he told me of Donna Summers death.
Donna Summers’ music was the soundtrack of our college days. Her anthem: Works Hard For the Money, was what I listened to when our children were born, as a mom it felt like she was singing my experience.
I hope we can join together to pray/think positively/supportively for Donna Summer’s soul and her husband, Bruce Sudano, and their daughters, Brooklyn, Mimi and Amanda.
